Please feel free to explore and enjoy. Ethnically he is Russian and Ukrainian mix. This is why he feels obligated to deliver a visual thrill together with powerful content. On many occasions Dmitriy needs to take photos of ordinary objects, like fruits or fish purchased in supermarket.
Besides of delivering a solid and sophisticated message, as an artist Dmitriy Gushchin is a strong believer for necessity of aesthetic satisfaction in the art form. After picking all the necessary elements from newly made images and his extensive photo library for his next gay photography creation, Dmitriy carefully blends them using sophisticated digital process.
Although Dmitriy started practicing photography since he was 12 years old boy, but concurrently he earned his Masters Degree in Physics and later became Doctor of Naturopathy. Every time he has inspirational dream, idea or a vision he carefully sketches and makes a list of all props and photo shots needed for new photograph.
Dmitriy compares his compositing process to DJing. Because of that Dmitriy became a spiritual healer and Esoteric Philosophy teacher and educator since he was 19 years old. Absolutely necessary part of composite photography is taking photos of the objects.
